By accessing or using the Veridict platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. The Service may not be available in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for determining whether prediction market trading is legal in your jurisdiction.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Trading Rules
4.1. All trades are final and cannot be reversed once executed.
4.2. Share prices range from $0.01 to $0.99 and reflect market-assessed probability.
4.3. When a market resolves, shares of the correct outcome pay $1.00 each. Incorrect outcome shares expire worthless.
4.4. Veridict reserves the right to suspend trading on any market at its sole discretion.
4.5. Market manipulative behavior, including wash trading, spoofing, or collusion, is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.
5. Fees
Veridict charges a 2% fee on winning positions. There are no deposit, withdrawal, or inactivity fees. Fee structures are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
6. Market Resolution
Markets are resolved based on publicly verifiable data sources as specified on each market page. Resolution decisions are final. In rare cases of ambiguity, Veridict's resolution team will make the final determination based on the pre-stated criteria.
7. Risk Disclosure
Prediction market trading involves substantial risk. You may lose some or all of the funds you deposit. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You should carefully consider your financial situation before trading.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by VERIDICT.ONLINE Technologies, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veridict shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
Veridict reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
